When the Grossdeutschland was in its infancy, there became a group, pretty much used for Hitlers Parade's, Troops that were of a elite status, something maybe compared the the Army 2nd Infantry Division, "Honor-Guard", and at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, of course That is also where the comparison ends too. The 'Wacht Bataillon' was part of the Wehrmacht, and the Soldiers had sworn a oath to follow Hilters Orders, and keep him safe, and this was happening in Nazi Germany...this part was very much different..
